Tar Heel is a small family lot on Wendell Falls Pkwy. A tight, hand-picked rotation of cars, trucks, and SUVs. Every one inspected in our own service bay. Priced low because our overhead is low.
Every vehicle on our lot was picked by us, for our customers. We buy at auction, off lease, and from people we trust. Then we run it through our own service bay before it ever hits the line. If we wouldn't sell it to our family, we don't sell it to you.
We've been doing this in eastern Wake County for 20+ years. Two owners, both former franchise-side, who got tired of selling whatever the manufacturer pushed out the door. Here is how it works at our lot.
Both Marcus and Tyler came up on the franchise side. 20+ years each before they started Tar Heel in 2006. They run the lot themselves. You call, they pick up.
Pulled from Google, CARFAX, and Cars.com. Real customers, real names. The names you'll see most often: Marcus, Tyler, and Tyler.
Every vehicle we sell goes through it. And after the sale, you bring it back. We know it.
Our on-site service center isn't an afterthought. It's where every vehicle we sell gets inspected, serviced, and made right before it goes on the line. Devin Hatch runs it day-to-day, with a crew of automotive techs who work on everything we sell.
After you buy, we're still the shop that knows your car. Bring it back for oil changes, brakes, tires, diagnostics, anything. We're not a chain, so the same techs who prepped it for sale are the ones who'll work on it next year.
Service appointments: Call Devin directly at (919) 555-0173 or email devin@tarheelautosales.com.
We've been on the same corner for over 20 years. Drop in, no appointment needed. We'll be on the lot.
See something you want to look at? Call Marcus or Tyler after hours. They'll usually meet you on the lot. That's how a family lot works.
